With Baerbel Mueller, Head of the [Applied] Foreign Affairs Lab at the Architecture Institute, University of Applied Arts Vienna.
Baerbel Mueller lives and works in Vienna and Ghana, and has realised architectural projects in various contexts outside Europe, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa. It is not only the raw materials used in these projects that connect her with Yasmeen Lari. In her guided tour of the exhibition ‘Yasmeen Lari. Architecture for the Future’ we search for answers to the issue of how architecture can work simultaneously on social integrity and environmental justice.
