A photographic documentation of the destruction of Sarajevo.

An exhibition organized in cooperation with DAS-SABIH, the association of architects from Bosnia Herzegovina, documented the successive destruction of urban culture that once formed a conglomerate of West European, Austro-Hungarian, Slavic, and Muslim elements.
This project was carried out under the auspices of UNESCO and UIA. Within the framework of the exhibition the Architektur Zentrum Wien was able to forge many economic and diplomatic contacts for the reconstruction of Sarajevo.
