Accompanying Programme
An excursion related to the exhibition shows that socially committed architecture based on individual initiative and using limited financial means is being built in Vienna, too. Visits are made to the design-build projects “Parklife” and “young.Caritas”, which were designed and implemented by Peter Fattinger with students from the TU Vienna. Then gaupenraub +/- Architekten show the project “VinziRast-mittendrin” – an innovative housing project in which students and formerly homeless people live, study and work together. Guides: Sonja Pisarik (Az W) and the respective architects on site.
