The old concrete slabs of the IBM office building on the Danube Canal in a new transparent shell: Space is to provide for several conference rooms under the generous rooftop vaulted glazing – the view opens up to the panorama of the inner city from the winter garden set to the front.
With its slight curve, the external shell of the double facade follows the meander of the waterway. The glass membrane lends the volume an inner tension and lights up in the evening with a transformation of the lighting inside the building realised by Granular Synthesis.
