Drawing on Kazuyo Sejima’s title ‘people meet in architecture’ the sonntags excursion is again embarking on a trip to the Architecture Biennial in Venice, which is probably the most enthralling presentation of the most recent trends in the international architecture context. A stroll with Loredana Giacomini past concealed historic locations to the Francois Pinaut Foundation in Palazzo Grassi (Centro D’arte Contemporanea Punta Della Dogana) by Tadao Ando provides a little respite from visiting the exhibitions in the Giardini and Arsenale grounds.
Friday: visit to the Biennial in the Giardini: guided tour of selected pavilions
exhibition ‘Under Construction’ in the Austrian Pavilion, Commissioner Eric Owen Moss; and others
Saturday: special guided tour in Venice, Centro D’arte Contemporanea: Tadao Ando, 2009
Sunday: visit to the Biennial in the Arsenale
