The individual stops along this “surprise tour” are the result of a survey conducted among the residents of Vienna about the ideas, images and personal experiences in the concrete context of their place of residence.

As the decisive part of this project we would like to ask all sundays participants and those interested to visit and help design the interactive, continually growing web archive www.urbanpilgrims.org on the concept of sundays 191.

Vienna is the first stop in a planned international urban pilgrims series. Individual histories and memories become a public field that generates a new independent cartography of the place. We come closer to the genius loci of Vienna! The sundays trip into the unknown comes to an airy end with the launch of the urban pilgrims tours with experts in Blumberg in Vienna Ottakring.
