Are People Really Happier Living in a House?

We would like to explore this question by using the exhibition ‘Suburbia. Living the American Dream’ to explore the extent to which childhood experiences and media representations shape our idea of happiness. “Many people don’t live according to their needs,” says Barbara Perfahl, who distinguishes between six basic housing needs.
