With the realisation of the winning project from the architectural competition by the same name, the architect created a still exemplary model model for the renovation of worn out parts of the “Rastervierteln” (“block districts”) in the metropolist, neo-Victorian context. It still carries its justifiably programmatic name.

The resulting project of the closeby and well-visited SARGFABRIK presents a consistant extention of the existing residence project both in respect to concept, planning, gestalt and typology as well as building economy, technique and environmental performance.
