The labour offices, built during the world economic crisis when unemployment rate was extremely high, are an example of the very different but rational and at the same time economic attitude in the spirit of modern age. The monumental building by Stiegholzer and Kastinger in the Embelgasse and the transparent architecture by Plischke referring to the “International Style” have been given a new function, converted and rebuilt respectively within the past few years.
Czech and Lutter, the architects in charge, will be guiding through the labour exchanges.
