Domenig and His Contem­poraries

Günther Domenig’s estate has been in the Architekturzentrum Wien Collection since 2014. On the occasion of the jubilee year, we start the tour with Domenig’s buildings. As the product of the country’s building sector, with of all the associated cultural, social, political, economic and technical implications, which are linked by a multi-perspective narrative in the new permanent exhibition. The approaches taken by his contemporaries also flow into this narrative, and are subjected to closer scrutiny.

In cooperation with “Günther Domenig: DIMENSIONAL”, a project by Architektur Haus Kärnten (AHK) in cooperation with the State of Carinthia and Museum Moderner Kunst Kärnten (MMKK) together with the STEINHAUS Günther Domenig Privatstiftung and Heft/Hüttenberg.
