An event organised by the Az W in collaboration with the clients & investors ARWAG, BAI, BUWOG, GESIBA, GEWOG/NEUE HEIMAT, KALLCO, MISCHEK, NEUES LEBEN, ÖSW
in co-operation with Wohnservice Wien

Housing development is continually facing new challenges posed by social changes – the increasing cultural heterogeneity of society, changing lifestyles and the move towards individuality and plurality – and by the emergence of new ‘quarters’ in urban development zones. Architects and clients are being challenged to offer high quality solutions to meet these demands in order to fulfil everyone’s housing requirements and achieve an improved overall standard of living.

For this reason, and in collaboration with 9 clients and investors – all of whom are Az W x-large partners – the Architekturzentrum Wien has once again, this year too, decided to select dedicated efforts to provide new housing aimed at coming a step closer to realising the dream home, for a three-day presentation of the ‘best of housing development’.
You do not just have an opportunity to seek advice from experts in their field in situ, but there is also an opportunity to discuss their buildings and project ideas with the architects involved, in person.

Lectures by the Participating Architects
Lectures are to be held on each of the days at 1pm: The architects participating will be talking about their project ideas and the concept behind their housing development in more detail.

Bumper Public Prize draw
Visitors to «best of housing development» vote for their favourite project: every correctly filled-in card is automatically included in a prize draw, and stands a chance of winning furniture by the firms Wittmann, Hussl and Bene.

The exhibition is to be shown from 16.09 – 03.10.03 at Wohnservice Wien, 1-3 Taborstrasse, 1020 Vienna.
