The Az W presents three exemplary Viennese housing projects that were submitted for the prestigious Mies van der Rohe Award 2015. The projects are: the PaN Wohnpark, three buildings that relate to the tradition of Viennese housing as interpreted by Adolf Loos (by Ballmoos Krucker Architekten, Sergison Bates architects, Werner Neuwirth), the Wohnprojekt Wien, an example of cooperative building and living (einszueins architektur), and OASE 22 (building by Studio uek), the winning project from EUROPAN 9 on the theme “Sustainable City and New Open Spaces”.
