Az W Book Salon: A Bibliophile’s Universe
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
in German
We invite you to join us for this year’s Book Salon at the Az W Library, the second such event, where we have filtered out the best reading and gift ideas from the wealth of current architecture books – books that we otherwise often only flick through hastily. At the end of each year the annually growing stock of books, journals and magazines is the topic of a panel discussion that focuses on selected delicacies. With an introductory overview of this year’s new acquisitions – 662 architecture books, 125 catalogues and 1,244 architecture magazines and journals – Wolfgang Heidrich presents the expansive bibliophile’s universe at the Az W. This is followed by a discussion with our guests based on a subjective selection of books from the new releases in 2010 and their personal book recommendations (regardless of their year of publication).

19:10 Wolfgang Heidrich, Az W librarian, New Publications in 2010
