At the Az W: Apartments with Terraces Competition, Buchengasse, 1100 Vienna

To quote Executive Councillor Werner Faymann: “There is currently particularly intense interest in apartments that provide generous open spaces and free surfaces. In this context, apartments with terraces are one of the most popular forms of housing. To do justice to this preference, in collaboration with the developers Heimbau und Eisenhof, the wohnfonds wien held a competition for Apartments with Terraces. 249 homes and a children’s day care centre are to be completed on the Tarbuk grounds in Vienna-Favoriten.”

The submissions to the first and second stages of the competition as well as the winning project, by Rüdiger Lainer, were presented to the public in this exhibition at the Architekturzentrum Wien.
