Archikids: How do Animals Live?

A shortage of places to live on the sea bed, a living room under the earth, a bedroom in the middle of the river, or carrying their own shelter on their backs: animals can live in places that are too wet, too cold or too windy for people to live.
The architect Peter Scheifinger transports us into the world of animal habitats, shows us plans of elephant houses and monkey houses, and explains the difference between animals and people from an architect’s point of view. This is followed by a trip to the workshop, where there are no limits on the ideas you can have for housing.

Starting this March every 2nd Saturday in the month is a fixture on the programme for inquisitive Archikids (aged 6 and over). Find out everything you’ve ever wanted to know about architecture on this expedition into the built environment. The programme is designed to be equally appealing to your parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles.
