Archikids: Building in Concrete

This time it’s all about the raw material CONCRETE at the Architekturzentrum Wien. Did the Ancient Egyptians use concrete to build their pyramids? Is the Pantheon from Ancient Rome perhaps made of concrete? What are the ingredients you need so it can bear so much pressure as a building material? In the workshop we take cement, sand, water and gravel, and use them to construct our own concrete fantasies.
