Archikids: Biospheres

In the 1990s, Biosphere 2, an artifical ecosystem, was built on the earth. The experiment was intended to prove that life was possible in the long-term in an autonomous, closed ecological system. If such a world can be kept alive then would it be possible to live on other planets? Barbara Imhof and Waltraut Hoheneder from LIQUIFER, the space architecture platform, explain to us how it could work in outer space, and we build our own (fantasy) spheres in model form.
