The guided tour of a_show concentrates on the different currents of the 1960s:
Roland Rainer, Karl Schwanzer and Ernst Hiesmayer demonstrated a new departure into International Modernism with their buildings.
Konrad Wachsmann’s influence on the construction of industrial buildings led to the introduction of a new formal language.
And, not least with Coop Himmelbau, Zündup and Günther Feuerstein, the 1960s also stand for a time of utopian ideals and manifestos: “Everything is architecture”.
