Im Boot Wettbewerbsverfahren/Wohnbau contains a summary of the findings of the research project Habitat 2000 Plus, and serves as a competition handbook. Habitat 2000 Plus defines itself as a research-orientated infrastructure for the transition from product management to process management. In a critical evaluation of the organisation Europan Österreich both the advantages and disadvantages of the competition system, the process behind competitions and the conditions in which they are held are shown in detail. Working on the basis provided, perspectives going beyond the framework of Europan are shown that could lead to a marked improvement in housing development in Austria and Europe that results from competitions organised with dedication and care.

Europan 6 – Zwischenorte. Architektur Im Prozess Zu Urbanen Erneuerung contains the documentation of the prize-winning Austrian competition entries, supplemented by analyses and comments on the issue of housing. How can Europan tap the full potential of its role in this sector?
