Panel Discussion
The Future of the City – The City of the Future
In cooperation with MA 18 – Stadtplanung und Stadtentwicklung
What will the European city look like in the future? How should the ecologically sustainable city be planned and designed today, how should the socially sustainable city be conceived? In 2011 the building culture report of the federal government stated: “the purpose of building is to create living space and development possibilities for people, and ultimately all building must be measured against this aim.” What contribution can be made by architects, town and traffic planning to ensure that the European city of the future is a humane city worth living in?
